The third of the Mash Monster replica grippers. The MM3 is a Beef Builder Super Elite that is mounted with a 1/4 inch gap between the bottom of the spring and the top of the handle. This special mounting makes the MM3 easier than a standard Super Elite gripper.

A Word About "Mash Monster" Grippers
In 2003 a new gripper certification was started through the GripBoard called "Mash Monster". This certification used a new concept of building a custom gripper to exact specifications then using that gripper and that gripper only to certify individuals. This way it is known that everyone that certifies does so by closing the exact same gripper. While you can't buy one of the official Mash Monster certification grippers, you can buy a replica. The Mash Monster replica grippers use the same basic specs that were used to build the official Mash Monster certification grippers. While the tolerances were relaxed a bit on these replica grippers to keep them affordable they are close enough to the real deal for you to decide whether or not you are ready to take a shot at certification.
